(1 visitor review) The EH Holden was in production from 1963 to 1965 and replaced the EJ Holden range. The EH Holden was the first to include the new “red motor”. Power output from the available motors ranged from 95bhp (71kw) to 115bhp (86kw). The motor was fitted with either a 3spd manual or 3spd “Hydra-Matic” automatic gearbox.
Top speed was around 90mph for the 149 engine and 95mph for the 179 engine. The fuel tank had a capacity of 9.5 gallons (43.2 litres). There were 256,959 vehicles produced during the years of production and it was priced at £1051 ($2102) when first released.
